She is a rector of the Academy of Music, Dance and Fine Arts in Plovdiv and professor of classical singing, as well as of classical singing and chamber music teaching methodology. She graduated from the National Academy of Music ‘Prof. Pancho Vladigerov in Sofia, and she was a long-time soloist of the State Opera in Plovdiv first and of the Mozart Ensemble Vienna later. Her repertoire includes leading roles in operas by Mozart, Telemann, Verdi, Puccini, Leoncavallo, E. В. Ferrari, Purcell, Tchaikovsky, etc. She has a special affinity for the works of Bulgarian composers. In 2007 she obtained a degree of Doctor.

She conducts master classes in Poland, China and Austria. Prof. Nowak is an artistic director, jury chair and jury member of national and international contests. She has published several monographs and research papers.
