Popstar and performer of some of the greatest Bulgarian songs.
He was born on 8 August 1957 in Berkovitsa. He is a former pupil of the chorus ‘Bodra smyana’.
He graduated from the National Academy of Music ‘Prof. Pancho Vladigerov’ in 1990 in the class of Konstantsa Vachkova. Since 1989 he has been a soloist of the Plovdiv Opera.
He has been engaged as an opera singer at the Friedrichstadt-Palast in Berlin, Germany since 1994. He has performed the tenor roles in many Italian operas: La Traviata, Il Trovatore, Aida, Rigoletto and Otello by Giuseppe Verdi, La Boheme and Madame Butterfly by Giacomo Puccini.
He has toured Russia, Germany, Austria, Italy, Spain, Hungary, and the Czech Republic.
One of his iconic performances is the song ‘The World is for Two’ set to music by Maria Neykova.
In 2010 he starred the President in ‘Mission London’, and since 7 September 2020, he has hosted the TV show ‘The Last Man Wins’, broadcast on BNT 1.
